Northgate is also home to Boundary Oaks Golf Course. Set against the foothills of Mt. Diablo, the scenic Boundary Oak Golf Course is one of the top-rated public golf courses in Northern California. Boundary Oaks includes an 18-hole championship golf course designed by Robert Muir Graves and a driving range and practice area with putting and chipping greens. Residents also have convenient access to Scottsdale Swim & Tennis Club.  Whether your children want to swim on the swim team, take swimming or tennis lessons or you just want to lounge by the pool, the club provides a fun and relaxing environment for members and their guests.

Local Shopping + All of What Walnut Creek Offers

When it comes to shopping and everyday conveniences, Northgate area residents are served by the Encina Grande shopping center located along Walnut Creek’s commuter corridor. Encina Grande features a Whole Foods Market, Ace Hardware, Walgreens, PetSmart, casual eateries, and a variety of retailers. Orchards at Walnut Creek is a newer shopping center in the area, anchored by Safeway, Stein Mart, Crunch Fitness, and Petco and includes a variety of retailers. The Ygnacio Valley Library, one of the two libraries in Walnut Creek, is located on Oak Road.
